Goose Launch Debut Capitol Theatre Run with “Electric Avenue”

Last night, Connecticut-bred indie-groove band Goose performed the first of five shows as part of their residency at the premiere East Coast jam venue, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. The quintet–comprised of Rick Mitarotonda, Peter Anspach, Ben Atkind, Jeff Arevalo and Trevor Weekz–arrived still blazing from their performance at Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival and tapped into the leftover energy to set the tone of the run.Goose closed their appearance in Florida (March 3) with Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue,” and the current was still flowing through them as they opened their first-ever performance collectively on the storied Port Chester stage with the ending of the song.
