Last night, Connecticut-bred indie-groove band Goose performed the first of five shows as part of their residency at the premiere East Coast jam venue, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y.
Goose kicked off their long-awaited five-night run at the legendary Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York last night.
Bob Weir joined Goose for a lengthy sit-in Sunday night at Dead & Company‘s Playing In The Sand event in Riviera Cancún, Mexico. Weir began the collaboration by dueting with Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda and then was joined by the full band for The Beatles and Otis Redding covers.
On Sunday night, Goose got in on the fiesta at Dead & Company destination event Playing In The Sand in Quintana Roo, Mexico with a two-set headlining show featuring an extended guest appearance by Bob Weir. To say that Goose entered 2023 as one of the hottest bands in the scene would be the understatement of this young year.

Yesterday, Dead & Company’s destination concert event Playing in the Sand, continued at Cancún, Mexico’s Moon Palace. Jan. 15 saw Connecticut-jamband Goose–Peter Anspach, Jeff Arevalo, Ben Atkind, Rick Mitarotonda and Trevor Weekz– take the stage and cut into originals and choice covers.
Goose celebrated New Year’s Eve with the second of two concerts held last weekend at Cincinnati’s Andrew J Brady Music Center.
Goose ended 2022, the band’s most successful year to date, with a New Year’s Eve show at the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, OH that was a monumental jam fest full of references to the future, love, and the dichotomy of darkness and light.
